The Gin Guide
The Gin Guide launched in 2014 by spirits writer Paul Jackson as a global, independent consumer resource and Membership organisation for gin producers. The Gin Guide mission is to enable consumers to discover new gins, distilleries and ways to enjoy gin, whilst providing a platform and channels for gin producers to reach new audiences, tell their stories, sell more bottles and drive more tour bookings.
Now the world's largest non-distilling/producing gin organisation in terms of online traffic and social media following, The Gin Guide aims to support the authentic, transparent and sustainable development of the gin industry, and to celebrate the products and people within it.
The Gin Guide visits gin distilleries, gin bars and gin events across the world, and all gins featured have been individually tasted by Paul Jackson and contributing industry experts to provide concise, transparent and impartial reviews, tasting notes and garnish recommendations.
The Gin Guide's Editor, Paul Jackson, is a gin expert and spirits writer, judge, speaker and consultant, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the spirits, bar and events industries, as well as brand development and marketing. You can find Paul's thoughts on each gin review under the 'The Gin Guide says...' section.
You'll often find Paul hosting tastings, speaking at gin events, consulting for gin brands, distilleries and events, and developing gin offerings for bars, hotels and restaurants. You may have also seen Paul on BBC, ITV and Channel 5 and in newspaper columns and magazine articles.
