About Ginacria
Ginacria was launched in 2020 by Dario Rinaldi and is produced using vacuum distillation with botanicals from Sicily. Dario forages the botanicals by hand, including juniper from the slopes of Mount Etna. In 2021, Nysura Distillery launched 'Hemisphaerica', a gin featuring a single botanical - the Hemispherica juniper sub-species of Juniperua Communis. |

The Gin Guide Review: "Ginacria has a rustic, hearty and flavoursome character. The juniper is instantly prominent on the nose and palate, the citrus peels are deep and oily, the false pepper adds a tingling warmth, and lemon flowers and liquorice add further nuances and depth. With Tonic Water, Ginacria really comes together as the citrus oils are released further to elevate the notes of orange peel and lemon peel, finding a bold and bittersweet balance, accompanying the earthy juniper and soft pepperiness for a thoroughly enjoyable G&T with Meditteranean character." - Paul Jackson, 2022

Meet the Makers
"I literally fell in love with gin and started studying its distillation methods, production, ingredients, styles, history and so on. I thus came to discover the vacuum distillation method at lower temperatures. During that process I decided that I wanted to create a 100% Sicilian gin. And so I did it!" - Dario Rinaldi, Founder & Distiller
