Lava Spirits Co. Coffee Gins - Review & Tasting Notes
About Lava Spirits Coffee Gins
LAVA Spirits Co. launched in 2020 with their Coffee Gin and also their Coffee & Orange gin. Laura Bridge, the founder, took inspiration from Italy's coffee culture, having spent many years living in Florence. To produce the spirits a London Dry Gin is paired with a blend of South American Arabica Coffee.

The Gin Guide Review
Lava Spirits Company's Coffee Gins deliver abundant aromas and flavours of coffee with botanical undertones. Enticing coffee aromas are at the forefront on the nose with hints of chocolate and vanilla, and there is depth on the palate from citrus notes, soft spice notes of cinnamon and nutmeg, and subtle marzipan sweetness. The finish sees bittersweet coffee flavours lingering alongside cinnamon and the citrusy spice of coriander seeds. While coffee naturally takes the leading role, the botanicals of the gin base have a valuable cameo and add to the character and profile of what is a rather moreish spirit, especially as a digestif. - Paul Jackson, 2020 |

Meet the Maker
“I’m so proud of LAVA Spirits and the drinks I’ve created in this small-batch start-up. I can’t believe that, what started at the kitchen table has grown into something I’m able to launch to market. The gins are most definitely unique though, and I love the fact that they embody so many things I love and feel passionate about – coffee, gin, and memories of Italy and its culture.' - Founder, Laura Bridge
