Ragnarok Gin - Review & Tasting Notes
About Ragnarok Gin
Ragnarok Gin was launched in 2012 and is distilled in a copper pot using a base spirit of Swedish winter barley from the fields surrounding the distillery in northern Sweden. In Norse mythology, Ragnarok is the series of events - including a great battle - which leads to the death of multiple gods, the flooding of the whole world, and then the re-emergence of a new and fertile world to be repopulated by two human beings. The Gin Guide Review Ragnarok Gin is bold, smooth and contemporary. It's fruity and balanced with herbal and citrus notes, as well as a distinctive bittersweet and cereal character before hints of dill emerge in the finish. A berry fruit tart comes to mind - delicious and charming! - Paul Jackson, 2019 |
