Bathtub Gin & Atom Brands

Bathtub Gin was launched in 2011 as the first brand and product from Atom Brands, the innovative brand-focused arm of Atom Group that is responsible for That Boutiquey Gin Company, Jaffa Cake Gin, and Drinks by the Dram, amongst others. Atom Group was first established in Kent in 2008, initially revitalising online retailer Master of Malt and now also owning leading UK distributor Maverick Drinks. Bathtub Gin is first distilled in copper pot stills at Langley Distillery before being further infused with orange peel, coriander seeds, cardamom, cassia bark and cloves for seven days. The Bathtub Gin name and production method are inspired by the 1920s illicit spirits made in bathtubs during prohibition, and the bottles are wrapped, strung and waxed by hand.

Bathtub Gin (43.3% ABV)

  • Botanicals: 6 botanicals including juniper, coriander seeds, cassia bark, cardamom, cloves, orange peel. Base Spirit: Grain.
  • Serving Suggestion: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Lemon Peel or Orange, or in a Negroni.
  • Tasting Notes: Aromas of juniper, orange, and soft cardamom and cinnamon spice. Juniper, fresh orange peel, and warming spice on the palate. A spiced finish of lingering cardamom and orange peel.​

"It’s all about the process of cold compounding. We are a bunch of spirit geeks and the 'art of flavour' is a massive thing for us, so crafting a gin with the freshest and truest botanical delivery became a bit of an obsession."
