Caprisius

​Caprisius Gin was created by Luca Stabile to represent the style of the Italian island of Capri. Launched in 2019, all the botanicals are found on Capri and are macerated separately for 10-15 days. Each infusion is then distilled separately and then combined. Finally, the gin is blended with salt water and then filtered to ensure that no sea salt remains.

Caprisius Gin (43% ABV)

  • ​​Botanicals: 5 including juniper, thyme, marjoram, lemon, sea salt. Base Spirit: Wheat.
  • Serving Suggestions: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of lemon peel or mint, or in a Gimlet.
  • ​Tasting Notes: Aromas of lemon, soft herbaceous notes and fresh sea air. Boldy saline on the palate with juniper, lemon and thyme. A lingering, fresh and salty finish with hints of herbal marjoram and lemon.
The Gin Guide Review: Caprisius Gin delivers a uniquely saline flavour profile through the use of sea salt to boldy capture a sense of the Capri coast. Juniper, herbaceous thyme, herbal marjoram and zesty lemon are harmonious together and are elevated on the nose and palate with the addition of ice and when mixed with Tonic Water.
