Casa Staibano
Casa Staibano spirits company was founded by Cesco Amodio in 2015, inspired by his charismatic Great-Grandfather, Don Vincenzo Staibano, who owned lemon groves on the Amalfi Coast and started making sweet liqueurs and spirits in the 1930s. Positano Gin is based on a recipe created by Don Vincenzo in the 1950s for his wife, Lucia, who was born in Positano and requested a stronger, less sweet concoction.

Meet the Makers
"Don Vincenzo Staibano was a stylish and charismatic playboy from Amalfi, known to many as “Il Gaga”. As well as tending to his vast amount of lemon groves, he was a master at creating liqueurs and spirits which he started producing back in the 1930s. His concoctions were often served for all those who attended his famous, lavish parties in his lemon groves on the Amalfi Coast during the 1950s boom in Italy." - Founder, Cesco Amodio
