Distilleria Mezzanotte
Distilleria Mezzanotte was founded in 2021, with their flagship Gin Mezzanotte and Gin Atlantide being launched in 2022. The distillery, whose name means 'Midnight', was conceived by e-commerce specialist Alex Bartolucci and designer Giacomo Bracci during the pandemic lockdown in 2020 and is located in Pesaro on the Adriatic coast. The distillery is home to their electrically-powered 230L Müller Aromat copper still with external botanical basket and 3-plate column.

Mezzanotte Gin (45% ABV)

  • Botanicals: 6 botanicals including juniper, coriander seeds, cinnamon, Kaffir lime leaves, cocoa beans, sweet orange peel. Base Spirit: Grain.
  • Serving Suggestion: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Orange or in a Negroni.
  • Tasting Notes: Aromas of fruity orange, cocoa and cinnamon. Bold and warming cocoa on the palate with Kaffir lime leaves and orange. A long finish of soft citrus, cinnamon and coriander seed spice.

Atlantide Gin (45% ABV)
  • Botanicals: 8 including juniper, coriander seeds, angelica root, grapefruit, sea lichen, seaweed, pink pepper.
  • Serving Suggestion: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Grapefruit, or in a Martini.
  • Tasting Notes: Well balanced and elegant. Individual flavours come through. Dry and subtly coastal. Smooth mouthfeel. A long, warming and peppery spiced finish. Tonic adds the sweetness to balance the dry notes.

"Our story began in 2020 during that particular time when we all stayed indoors to protect ourselves from a global pandemic. The idea was born from the desire to be able to create new flavours and tell them through the senses thanks to the knowledge of Alex in distillation and Giacomo in design, thus Mezzanotte was born.
