Distillerie du Rhône
Located on the outskirts of Lyon, the Distillerie du Rhône was established in 2021 by Sommelier, Alexis Bessaud, and Marketing professional, Ludovic Perron. The two friends met as neighbours in 2014 and shared a passion for French gastronomy, wine and spirits. The distillery is home to two custom design and built stills, one 50L still for recipe development and a 380L still for full production.

Meet the Makers

"We settled in Fleurieu-sur-Saône, near the river, in the middle of nature, in an ideal setting for the production of spirits. We have designed and created our stills from scratch to obtain the most precise results possible. These stills are two unique creations that are the signature of the Distillerie du Rhône, the first of 50L for the tests and creation of recipes and a second still of 380L for the full distillations.
