Lunun Gin

​Lunun Gin was launched in 2019 by Chef Dean Banks, one of Scotland's most highly rated chefs who runs Haar restaurant in St Andrews and The Pompadour at the Waldorf Astoria in Edinburgh. Lunun Gin is distilled by Distillutions in Dean's hometown of Arbroath and has an Asian influence inspired by Dean’s travels across the globe and his expertise in fusion cooking. The gin’s name is an adaptation of Angus’ most peaceful and secluded beach, ‘Lunan Bay’.

  • Botanicals: 6 including juniper, sea buckthorn, kombu kelp, Kaffir lime leaf, lemongrass, ginger, Sichaun pepper. Base Spirit: Grain​
  • Serving Suggestions: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Lime or Ginger, or in a Negroni, Gimlet or Martini.
  • ​Tasting Notes: Aromas of herbal citrus, peppery spice and subtle notes of sea air. On the palate, lemongrass, lime and zingy sea buckthorn notes. A finish of warm and aromatic Asian spice of ginger and Sichuan pepper.
