Lunun Gin was launched in 2019 by Chef Dean Banks, one of Scotland's most highly rated chefs who runs Haar restaurant in St Andrews and The Pompadour at the Waldorf Astoria in Edinburgh. Lunun Gin is distilled by Distillutions in Dean's hometown of Arbroath and has an Asian influence inspired by Dean’s travels across the globe and his expertise in fusion cooking. The gin’s name is an adaptation of Angus’ most peaceful and secluded beach, ‘Lunan Bay’.
