Mallard Point Distillery & Vineyard
|
After founders Andy and Fi Beamish had bought Church Farm in Rutland in 2012, they began to set up their sustainable winery and distillery in 2019. As the grape vines were nurtured, 3 years of development work followed in honing recipes and designing their aluminium bottles and innovative packaging that facilitates bottle returns and refills. In 2022, Mallard Point Vineyard and Distillery was launched with their London Dry Gin, Pinot Noir Gin and two successful vintages, followed by the launch of their English Rose Gin. In 2023, Mallard Point Distillery was named as a Winner in Design & Branding category of The Gin Guide Awards.

Meet the Makers
"The dream of starting a distillery and vineyard has been a hot topic of conversation between us since touring Australian vineyards in our early 20’s. Then in 2012 we bought Church Farm which had the potential as a vineyard and things began to change. After multiple tests, soil samples and a daughter, the dream started to become a reality. In April 2019 Mallard Point was conceived. The first vines were planted and work began on creating the in-house distillery and winery." - Andy & Fi Beamish, Founders
