Penrhos Spirits
|
Launched in 2018, Penrhos Spirits was established in Herefordshire by two farming families who grow fruits including strawberries, raspberries, cherries, blueberries and apples. The distillery is an old barn where co-founder Richard's grandmother, Constance, used to raise calves, and their copper pot CARL still is named Connie after her. Blueberries from the farm are used in the distillation of their flagship gin, Penrhos Gin, and Penrhos Spirits are also the first distillery to have moved from glass to 100% recycled aluminium bottles, cutting the carbon footprint of their packaging by 91%.

Meet the Makers
"We are Herefordshire fruit farmers - we grow strawberries, raspberries, cherries, blueberries and eating and cider apples. One day we we're enjoying a Saturday morning coffee when we thought we should be producing a gin with all our fruit!" - Founders, Charles Turner & Richard Williams
