Pinkster Gin Review & Tasting Notes
About Pinkster Gin
Pinkster Gin was launched in 2013 and is based near Cambridge, UK. The gin is third-party distilled by G&J Greenall's with 5 botanicals, before steeping fresh, locally grown raspberries and 2 further botanicals. The raspberries are then recycled and sold as 'Boozy Berries' in farm shops. Pinkster Gin was developed by Stephen Marsh after much experimentation with different fruits, and Stephen swiftly gave up his job as a Finance Director to work on Pinkster full time. The Gin Guide Review Pinkster Gin brings a refreshing and colourful twist to the market. Fruitiness and sweetness are clear on the palate and are well-balanced with the black pepper and gentle spice. This ensures that Pinkster Gin's raspberries are not overpowering or covering the juniper at its core. Ideal for a summer gin and tonic, Pinkster also works very well in twists on classic cocktails such mojitos. You Might Also Like... Meet the Maker" I didn’t set out to make a pink drink but after working my way through an entire fruit bowl, I discovered that raspberry delivered the best flavour profile."
