The Runway 28 Beverage Co.

Launched in 2020 in Ireland, the Runway 28 brand was developed by MarieAnn O Dwyer following a career in product development for multiple airlines and after initially training as Cabin Crew for Aer Lingus. The brand is named after the iconic Runway 28 at Dublin Airport and aims to celebrate and commemorate the pioneers of Irish aviation. This was the inspiration for their flagship Runway 28 Premium Irish Gin, distilled at Listoke Distillery in County Louth on the east coast of Ireland, and their second launch, Runway 28 Premium Pink Vodka, pays homage to women in the aviation industry.

Runway 28 Premium Irish Gin (42% ABV)

  • Botanicals: 10 botanicals including juniper, angelica root, coriander seeds, cubebs, sumac, caraway seeds, meadowsweet, lemon peel. Base Spirit: Grain.​
  • Serving Suggestion: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Lime or Lemon, or in a Martini or French 75.
  • Tasting Notes: Juniper, lemony citrus, gentle peppery spice, and delicate meadowsweet.
The Gin Guide Review: Runway 28 Gin delivers pleasant, mellow and perfumed aromas. When neat, on the palate it is clean, smooth and pleasingly complex with green juniper, citrus and earthiness, leading into a dry and citrussy finish.
