Wharf Distillery

Wharf Distillery is a family-run distillery in Northamptonshire, set up in 2011 by former cider-maker Laurence Conisbee. The distillery was originally established to produce brandy from cider made with local apples, initially using a contract distiller until their copper alembic still arrived from Portugal in 2013. In 2014 they laid down their first cask for whisky as well as brandy using wine from a local vineyard. Wharf Distillery's gin production began in 2017 and now boasts a range of 6 gins - 3 under the Wharf Distillery name and 3 under the 'New Town' brand which pays homage to their roots in Milton Keynes. |

Meet the Makers
"Currently we are the only grain to glass distillery in Northamptonshire which means that we don’t just buy in neutral spirit to make our products, we actually ferment raw ingredients to create an initial base alcohol." - Founder, Laurence Conisbee
