Wolfcraig Distillers
Wolfcraig Distillers was launched in 2020 by former Whyte & Mackay CEO, Michael Lunn, together with former long-term colleague and Master Blender, Richard Paterson OBE, and Michael's entrepreneur son, Jamie Lunn. Richard Paterson also joined forces with fellow Master Distiller and Blender, Ian Macmillan, to create a venerable partnership. While primarily known as globally renowned Scotch Whisky experts, Richard and Ian are also gin connoisseurs and launched Wolfcraig Gin with great pride in 2023. The Wolfcraig name is inspired by the Wolfcraig Legend, a tale in Scottish folklore of a wolf cub whose foot was trodden on by a Nordic invader. The cub's howling alerted his wolfpack and the Scottish soldiers to the threat and they fought together to defend their land.

Meet the Makers
I have been in the distilling industry for over 50 years, mainly in whisky distilling (Malt and Grain). However I did spend 5 years in London creating and distilling Tanqueray, Gordons and Booths during the 1980s. We had the idea to create a London Dry style of gin, similar to a number of formulae that I was familiar with, but making it much more unique by introducing a selection of Scottish botanicals. - Ian MacMillan, Master Distiller & Master Blender
