About Abingdon Distillery
Abingdon Distillery was launched in 2018 in the historic market town on the River Thames in Oxfordshire, with their London Dry Gin launched the same year following over 100 test batches to hone the recipe and trialling multiple distilling methods. The distillery and gins were rebranded in 2021 alongside distiller Jordan Morris beginning a cask ageing programme to create a range of limited edition aged gins. |
Abingdon London Dry Gin - Review

The Gin Guide Review
Abingdon London Dry Gin delivers plentiful classic notes with complexity and contemporary character from fennel, cardamom and citrus, with a cohesive and appealing flavour profile. Fennel can be a difficult botanical to use delicately, and when neat it is notably evident without being dominating, and with Tonic Water it softens and blends seamlessly as juniper, citrus and spice notes are elevated. Abingdon London Dry makes for a versatile G&T that could be taken down a fresh and savoury route with a cucumber garnish or made bright and citrussy with a lemon, orange or pink grapefruit garnish. - Paul Jackson, 2021 |
Meet the Maker
"All our recipes are distilled in our copper alembic pot still, Jenny, and we macerate the botanicals for 24 hours prior to going in the still. It is always a 1-shot method with no artificial colours or flavourings at all; making concentrates and diluting back isn’t part of our ethos - it somewhat takes out the fun of craft distilling." - Owner & Distiller, Jordan Morris
