Adventurers Drinks Co.

Adventurers Drinks Co was establishing in 2022 ahead of the launch of their debut spirits, Peak Baggers Gin and Rowers Gin. Founded by Phil Kite, a former heavy engineering manager turned rower and adventurer, the brand and its products are inspired by the spirit of exploration and modern day adventurers, with Peak Baggers Gin featuring botanicals from Britain's mountains and Rowers Gin featuring botanicals from Britain's rivers and coasts. As well as having won several rowing accolades and leading a team to row 3,000 miles across the Atlantic, Phil is aiming to be one of the first people row the Arctic's Northwest Passage.

Peak Baggers Gin (41% ABV)

  • Botanicals: 21 including juniper, lemon peel, orange peel, heather, milk thistle, rowan berries, aronia berries, rose hips, rose, nutmeg, cassia bark, calamus root. Base Spirit: Grain.
  • Serving Suggestions: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Orange Peel or Lemon Peel, or in a Negroni or Martini.
  • Tasting Notes: Fresh and perfumed aroma with citrus and floral notes. On the palate, juniper, citrus, floral rose and grassy heather. Gentle fruity berry tartness leads into a bittersweet finish with underlying warm spice.​
The Gin Guide Review: Peak Baggers Gin is a fragrant and layered gin with a clear and enjoyable connection to its British mountain inspiration. Juniper, citrus and underlying warm spice are accompanied by floral rose, grassy heather and milk thistle, and gently fruity and bittersweet aronia berries and rowan berries.   • Botanicals: 8 including juniper, lemon peel, orange peel, meadowsweet, rock samphire, sugar kelp. Base Spirit: Grain
  • Serving Suggestion / Garnish: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Lemon or Orange Peel, or in a Gin Margarita or Juliet & Romeo cocktail.
  • Tasting Notes: Aromas of sweet floral meadowsweet and sea air. On the palate, juniper, citrus and rock samphire, with a lingering finish with gentle salinity from sugar kelp.
The Gin Guide Review: Rowers Gin delivers coastal meadow character with gently floral meadowsweet and citrus combining with savoury rock samphire before the subtle salinity of sugar kelp leads into the finish alongside lingering lemon peel notes. Everest Gin

Everest Gin is inspired by world-renowned British climber Kenton Cool who has reached the summit of Everest 19 times. The gin is distilled with botanicals found in the Himalayan foothills, including juniper, coriander seeds, cardamom, pepper, angelica root, and bay leaf. Uniquely, every bottle contains a single drop of melted snow, collected from the summit of Mount Everest by Kenton Cool himself, during his record-breaking 19th successful ascent.

Explorers Grand Slam Gin

A gin inspired by Sir David Hempleman-Adams, who completed the first Explorers Grand Slam by walking to the geographical and magnetic North and South Poles and climbing the highest summit on all 7 continents. The gin features botanicals found in each continent including, European juniper, North American angelica root, African liquorice root, Asian cassia bark, Australasian black pepper, South America lemon and orange, and Antarctic sea salt.

"The launch of the Adventurers Drinks Co was inspired by my passion for adventure and exploration. It was whilst tackling a shortfall in funding for an expedition that I recognised the historical connection between adventuring and drinks companies. The expedition team had set about marketing a themed gin as a way of raising funds.
