Sky Wave London Dry Gin - Review & Tasting Notes
Sky Wave Gin was established in Bucknell, Oxfordshire and launched in 2018 by Andrew Parsons and Rachel Hicks. After creating a recipe while attending a gin making course, Andy ordered a 2 litre test still on the way home, and it is this original recipe that was developed and refined into Sky Wave London Dry Gin. The gin is distilled in a 50 litre pot still with a copper column and it combines 13 botanicals with water sourced from the Blenheim Palace aquifer which is just 10 miles from the distillery.

The Gin Guide Review
Sky Wave London Dry Gin delivers exactly what you'd hope for from a classic London Dry Gin. The traditional combination of piney juniper, vibrant citrus and earthy spice rides on a crisp and smooth mouthfeel, with different characters of citrus emerging and warming spice developing into the finish. With tonic, the piney aromas are elevated enticingly and the flavours of citrus, earthiness and spice are neatly balanced on the palate. In a G&T with Sky Wave Gin, citrus fruits make for ideal garnish starting points, and it is also highly versatile gin for classic gin cocktails. - Paul Jackson, 2020 |

Meet the Makers
"As life-long gin fans always searching for the perfect gin, we attended gin
school purely for interest. However, we created such a fabulous recipe that even the Master Distiller was impressed, and all the other students wanted to drink our gin and not theirs! We thought that perhaps we had hit on something, and within a day had bought a still from Portugal and began researching licensing requirements. - Andrew Parsons & Rachel Hicks, Founders & Distillers |
