Cascave Gin was launched in 2022 by mother, Julie, and daughters, Heidi and Naomi Davies, aiming to capture the essence of the Brecon Beacons landscape. Their gin is distilled at Hensol Distillery in South Wales with citrus peels and local Brecon bilberries and sunflower root, before the addition of water collected from an underground source in the Dan Yr Ogof Caves. Believed to be a first, Cascave's Cave Aged edition is rested in Port Casks in the Dan Yr Ogof Caves for 180 days at a consistent 10°C. Visitors to Dan Yr Ogof can see the barrels within the caves from Spring to late Summer.
