Dog and Spoon Distillery
Dog and Spoon Distillery was established by friends Tony Brindle and Seb Michaud, who met whilst working on an IT project in Switzerland. After beginning to convert an old barn on Tony's farm in 2019, the distillery was completed in 2020 and Dog and Spoon Distillery's first product, their London Dry Gin, was launched in 2021. This was followed by their 60% ABV Miner's Strength Gin, Bergamot Gin, and Orange Gin. In 2022, the distillery was certified as being Carbon Neutral and was Highly Commended in the 'New Distillery of the Year' category of The Gin Guide Awards 2022.

Dog and Spoon London Dry Gin (40% ABV)

  • Botanicals: 11 including juniper, lemon peel, orange peel, lemon verbena, bay leaves, cardamom, nutmeg. Base Spirit: Grain.​
  • Serving Suggestions: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Lemon and/or Rosemary, or in a Negroni, Martini or Elderflower Collins.
  • ​Tasting Notes: Aromas of juniper, citrus, cardamom and a subtle herbaceous note. On the palate, juniper, citrus and cardamom with a hint of lemon verbena. A lingering, complex finish with dry bay and soft cassia and nutmeg spice.
The Gin Guide Review: Dog & Spoon London Dry Gin is a classic London Dry at its core, but with real complexity and skilfully combined subtleties. Juniper and citrus are united on the palate by cardamom and lemon verbena, with undertones of warm and soft cassia and nutmeg which add depth and linger in the dry finish. "We’ve both had a love for Gin for many years and loved the variety. Coming from a technical background we were fascinated with the science and how if we had a distillery it would be a mixture of hi-tech and hand crafted.
