About Garage 22 Prague Distillery

Garage 22 was established in the 2020 in the Holešovice area of Prague by Ondřej and Martin - friends who have both worked in the food and drink industry and first produced a Tonic Syrup before beginning to distill gin. The distillery is home to their 300L copper Arnold Holstein still and is located in the garage of Martin's house, number 22.

Gin22 showcases a charming combination of juniper, citrus, chamomile and earthy, peppery spice in an appealing and moreish flavour profile which sees traditional and contemporary characters combined. The mouthfeel is also pleasingly smooth with soft chamomile and the oiliness of plentiful rich citrus peels. With Tonic Water the deeper citrus peel notes are balanced with gentle citrus sweetness, while chamomile remains prominent and is joined by elevated notes of elderflower for a flavoursome and cohesive G&T. - Paul Jackson, 2021 |

Meet the Makers

"Paradoxically, it was tonic as the first idea that led to the establishment and opening of the distillery. Reflecting on the variety of tonics led us to make our own syrup, which allows everyone to mix the tonic either as bitter or as sweet as they want. Logically, we subsequently lacked an ideal gin in terms of taste. And so the idea of the distillery and a vision of a perfect, authentic Gin & Tonic were born.
