Zafferano Agnes
Gin Agnes was launched in Italy in 2022 by childhood friends, Enzo and Maurizio, founders of Zafferano Agnes and cultivators of saffron in Sala Consilina in the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park. In collaboration with local producers, Enzo and Maurizio produce a range of products to showcase their saffron, including saffron cheese, saffron liqueurs and saffron honey. The name 'Agnes' comes from the Greek word for 'pure' and is inspired by the natural territory the saffron is cultivated in. Gin Agnes is produced in partnership with nearby Lottino Spirits, featuring 8 botanicals alongside their signature saffron.

Meet the Makers
"We wanted to create a unique business not only for ourselves but for our village too, and that is why we started to cultivate saffron. After experimenting with other liquors, we decided to pursue creating the king of the distillates, Gin! Our passion and dedication to creating something special for our community has led to the creation of a unique product." - Enzo & Maurizio, Co-Founders
