***PRESS RELEASE FROM IN THE WELSH WIND***
Introducing the rebranded Eccentric Gin collection from In The Welsh Wind Bespoke distillers In The Welsh Wind have relaunched the Eccentric Gin collection - a series of six distinctive gins which have been inspired by a long-forgotten but hugely influential Welshman. The six unique gins are craft distilled with flavours that represent the quirks of Wales’ cities, and its coastline. Each bottle is named to give a distinctive nod to the people, places and ideas that have inspired it. The Eccentric brand has been given a new lease of life by award-winning In The Welsh Wind Distillery, which acquired it in March 2020. The fresh design complements the Eccentric range’s innovative flavours. The brand was originally inspired by Victorian eccentric Dr William Price, who hailed from Llantrisant and whose ideas at the time flew in the face of wisdom and convention. The Eccentric Gin collection spans a range of premium gins from the cask-aged to the malt distilled, the classic London dry to a fresh contemporary coastal gin. Each product from the Eccentric collection is available online.
Ellen Wakelam, co-founder of In The Welsh Wind Distillery, said: “We really wanted to be creative and innovative with the Eccentric collection, which is our first In The Welsh Wind collection, yet remain true to the spirit of these gins which already have a following. “Our aim was to give this quirky but alluring range of gins a new lease of life to complement the amazing blend of botanicals that fans of Eccentric know and love. “The collection pays perfect homage to Dr Price, who was the inspiration behind the Eccentric collection. He was a true Welsh eccentric and yet someone who made a difference in Wales. We were attracted to how he lived by his principles in an era where convention was everything. That reflects our ethos at In The Welsh Wind: although we are respectful of tradition we refuse to be constrained by it and will always look to see how we can bring creativity into everything we can do.” Customers can order any of the gins and the rum online now at via www.eccentricgin.co.uk Comments are closed.
