Manly Spirits Co. Distillery has launched their much-anticipated pink gin in the UK – Lilly Pilly Pink Gin – which, in classic Manly Spirits style, is distilled with Australian native botanicals and foraged coastal flowers found on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Lilly Pilly Pink Gin is a fruity style Gin and the 4th addition to their award winning coastal-influenced gin selection. Inspired by the vibrant and succulent summer berries of the native Lilly Pilly, this pink gin is distilled with Lilly Pilly berries, native limes, hibiscus rosella flowers, blood orange and foraged Sea Fig (succulent coastal groundcover plant) and Nasturtium flowers, which you’ll find scattered amongst the sand dunes and coastal gardens of the Northern Beaches of Sydney. “It’s amazing how and where inspiration comes from. In our case it came from sitting on a sand dune and just looking 2 feet in front of you at a flash of pink colour. All our gins always have some local foraged botanicals, and so for our pink gin, we were really inspired by the beautiful pink sea fig (pigs face flower) and nasturtium flowers found scattered on the sand dunes of Freshwater beach near the distillery. We wanted to craft an authentic Gin, that tastes like a premium Gin from all-natural ingredients.
