Withers Gin new launch: G Force - Heartsease London Dry Gin.
G Force has the same botanical line up as our original G1 recipe with a couple of differences; The least subtle difference is the 47% ABV which packs a considerable punch. G Force sits firmly in the spicy flavour profile. The pepperiness derived from the leaves and stem of the heartsease flower with a support act of cassia bark and green cardamom. Botanicals: Heartsease, Juniper, Coriander, Orris Root, Angelica, Pink Grapefruit Zest, Cassia Bark, Green Cardamom Pods Mum was our inspiration for our first and multi award-winning gin, G1. Dad was the driving force behind Withers Gin as a concept and is our ‘reason why’. G Force is a tribute to Dear Old Dad who lost his battle with Pancreatic Cancer in 2018. Dad was a wonderful man with a wicked sense of humour and a love of a good strong gin in servings that can only be described as incredibly generous. A decorated fighter pilot; in the late 80’s he was awarded The Air Force Cross for ‘an act or acts of exemplary gallantry while flying’. Dad was fortunate to have a career he absolutely loved, working to protect the best boss in the world, the Queen. Dad led a ‘50’ flypast of Hawk jets in celebration of the 50th anniversary of DDay and VE Day in 1994/1995, the flypast on both occasions flew over the Queen.
