GIN LAUNCH: World Martini Day Gin 2022

Gŵyr Night Star London Dry Gin is the World Martini Day® 2022 limited edition spirit.

It was a huge honour for us at The Gower Gin Company to be asked to make a limited edition gin for World Martini Day 2022.

Inspired by 1953's Casino Royale passage on the Vesper Martini (Vesper meaning Evening Star) with 15 botanicals led by Serbian juniper (the casino's location) on a base of both grape and grain (as in a Martini) distilled on 13 April and bottled at 53% ABV (a nod to the publication date). It's as if we redistilled a Vesper Martini into an intense gin... for you to enjoy in a Vesper Martini.

The botanicals include:

• Serbian Juniper (pressed and whole)
• Coriander seed
• Angelica Orris root
• Cinchona bark
• Oak bark
• Crushed organic rye rain
  
• Crushed organic oats
  
• Fresh bergamot zest
• Fresh sweet orange zest
• Fresh lemon zest
• Jasmine flowers

The gin is unapologetically complex and juniper forward with sweet citrus undertones and a long smooth finish from the chopped grain and grape spirit. Batch 1 is limited to 222 bottles
