Goosnargh Gin Distillery
|
Goosnargh Gin was founded in 2018 by Richard and Rachel Trenchard after careers in journalism and education. The distillery is located at the base of Beacon Fell and on the edge of the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Lancashire, with Richard and Rachael hosting gin making experiences both from the distillery and at nearby Wyresdale Park country house in Scorton. Named after the village of Goosnargh and made in a 120L copper alembic still, each gin in the Goosnargh Gin range is named as a 'Chapter' from one to seven and aims to capture the spirit of the surrounding fells, meadows and forests.

Meet the Makers
"After successful careers in journalism and education respectively for more than 20 years, we founded Goosnargh Gin in January 2018. Building on a long held passion for true small batch production and quality ingredients. This allowed us to take more than a decade of amassed knowledge in the field, to forge our own path as producers and tell our story, chapter by chapter. We are fiercely independent and you will never see our products being sold through mass-market routes. All our retailers are independent businesses who share our passion for quality, and know our strong ethos and values." - Richard & Rachel Trenchard, Founders
