Since 1863, five generations of the Hayman family have produced English gins using techniques and processes handed down through the family. Hayman's London Dry Gin is distilled using the same traditional 2-day process and family recipe of 10 botanicals used for the last 150 years. For many years Hayman's Distillery was based in Essex, before moving production back to London in 2018 at a site just 4 miles from where the family first started making gin back in the 19th Century.

  • Botanicals: 10 including juniper, coriander seeds, orris root, angelica root, liquorice, orange peel, lemon peel, cassia bark, cinnamon, nutmeg. Base Spirit: Wheat.
  • Serving Suggestion / Garnish: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Lemon Peel, or in a Martini or Negroni.
  • Tasting Notes: Aromas of juniper and fresh citrus. On the palate, bold juniper, bright citrus and warming spice. A dry finish with soft spice, earthy notes and citrus.​

Meet the Makers

Siblings James and Miranda are responsible for the day-to-day running of Hayman’s Gin.  Their passion for gin is hardly surprising given that the family business has now been dedicated to the spirit for five generations.
