Henstone Distillery
|
Henstone Distillery in Oswestry, Shropshire was originally established in 2018 when Chris & Alexandra Toller joined forces with Stonehouse Brewery to move into distilling, initially with whisky production in mind. They launched their flagship Henstone Dry Gin the same year, made in a 2-day process in batches of 1,500 bottles using a 1,000L still. Now run by Chris and his son, Henry, Henstone Distillery was named 'Distillery of the Year' in The Gin Guide Awards, before repeating the feat in 2023.

Meet the Makers
"The distillery name comes from the founders' house names – Chris and Alex live in an old public house called “The Hen and Chickens” and Shane and Alison live in Stone House. After much deliberation the name Henstone emerged!" - Chris Toller, Co-Founder
