Louth Distillery
Louth Distillery in Lincolnshire is the home of Pin Gin and Rum Cat. Opened in 2023 under the Louth Distillery name, it builds on the heritage of Bottomley Distillers, the first distillery in Lincolnshire in 2016, founded in 2016 by Alan and Amy Bottomley. Alan's father had taught him to distill whisky and he decide to move from his career as an engineer in order to put some of these skills to use in establishing their distillery and creating Pin Gin, initially with a 35L copper pot still. Louth Distillery is home to a 5,000L copper pot still as well as 500L and 100L stills, and is open for tours, tastings, and Gin School experience.​

Pin Gin - London Dry (40% ABV)

  • Botanicals: 10 botanicals including Juniper, black peppercorn, cinnamon, liquorice root, ground almonds, orange peel, lemon peel, cucumber, lavender, rose. Base Spirit: Grain.
  • Serving Suggestion: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Lemon or Orange or in a Martini.
  • Tasting Notes: Aromas of floral lavender and rose. Notes of crisp cucumber and warm cinnamon and peppercorns on the palate. Orange and lemon peel lead into a subtly sweet finish with hints of liquorice and almond.
