Louth Distillery
Louth Distillery in Lincolnshire is the home of Pin Gin and Rum Cat. Opened under the Louth Distillery name in 2023, it builds on the legacy of Bottomley Distillers, Lincolnshire's first distillery, founded in 2016 by Alan Bottomley and Amy Conyard. Alan, a former engineer, was inspired by his father who taught him the art of whisky distillation. He turned that passion into a profession, launching the distillery with a 35-litre copper pot still and creating Pin Gin. Today, Louth Distillery houses a 5,000-litre copper pot still alongside 500-litre and 100-litre stills. Visitors can enjoy distillery tours, guided tastings, and immersive Gin School experiences.

Pin Gin - London Dry (40% ABV)

  • Botanicals: 10 botanicals including Juniper, black peppercorn, cinnamon, liquorice root, ground almonds, orange peel, lemon peel, cucumber, lavender, rose. Base Spirit: Grain.
  • Serving Suggestion: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Lemon or Orange or in a Martini.
  • Tasting Notes: Aromas of floral lavender and rose. Notes of crisp cucumber and warm cinnamon and peppercorns on the palate. Orange and lemon peel lead into a subtly sweet finish with hints of liquorice and almond.
