Lincolnshire Gins & Distilleries
On This Page: Lincolnshire Gin and Distillery directory, reviews and tasting notes, gin distillery map, distillery tours and gin schools in Lincolnshire, interviews with Lincolnshire distillers.
Lincolnshire, in the East Midlands of England, had been without a commercial distillery since 1863. However, in recent years this has all changed with Bottomley Distillers establishing Lincolnshire's first gin distillery in 2016 and many more following to total 8 gin distilleries in the county at present. There is plenty of inspiration for the distillers in Lincolnshire too, from the Lincolnshire Fens and the long North Sea coast to the cathedral and castle in the county town of Lincoln. Two of the 8 gin distilleries can be visited for gin tastings, tours or gin making experiences, so there is plenty to enjoy if you're a gin lover visiting or living in Lincolnshire.

The gins featured in this guide are gins which, to the best of our knowledge, are produced in Lincolnshire. There may be additional products named after places in Lincolnshire or that are based in Lincolnshire, however, they will not be featured in this guide if our understanding is that they are produced outside of Lincolnshire.

Pin Gin
Pin Gin was launched in 2017 by Alan and Amy Bottomley from their distillery in Louth. Alan's father had taught him to distill whisky and he decided to move from his career as an engineer in order to put some of these skills to use by creating Pin Gin, featuring botanicals including rose, black pepper, lavender and cucumber. The distillery is now owned by The Advocate Group and has expanding to now offer Gin School experiences and Distillery Tours, as well as producing multiple editions of Pin Gin and their rum brand, Rum Cat, plus white label products for other brands and organisations.
