Lucky Bee Classic Gin
Tasting Notes: Aromas of juniper, citrus peels, cardamom and herbal notes. Smooth and oily mouthfeel with deep citrus and woody notes on the palate. A bittersweet citrus finish with peppery juniper and earthy cinnamon spice. Serving Suggestion / Garnish: Gin & Tonic with Lime, or a Negroni. |
The Gin Guide Review: Lucky Bee Classic Gin was launched in 2020 and is hearty and flavoursome, with notable juniper and deep, bittersweet citrus, earthy spice and woody notes when neat. With the addition of tonic, leafier notes emerge on the nose and the earthier characters of cardamom are elevated alongside subtly sweeter citrus notes. The flavour profile and dry character of the gin make it an ideal option for a Negroni or for serving with a bright, fresh citrus garnish. - Paul Jackson, 2021

Lucky Bee Hench Gin
Tasting Notes: Aromas of juniper with herbal and lemony citrus. Spice, citrus peel and herbal characters combine on the palate before a lingering finish of peppery juniper and cinnamon. Serving Suggestion / Garnish: Gin & Tonic with Lemon Peel or a Martini. |
The Gin Guide Review:
Launched in 2021, Hench is a 57% ABV presentation of the Lucky Bee Classic Gin recipe. Juniper and herbal aromas join citrus and gentle spice on the nose before a silky smooth and oily mouthfeel with the characters of the nose continuing cohesively and dryly on the palate. With the addition of Tonic Water, the juniper prominence is heightened further and cardamom comes to the fore, with a character that is ideal for garnishing with lemon peel or serving in a Martini. A Winner in The Gin Guide Awards 2021, Hench Gin was scored as being exceptional and impressed the Judges with it's balance and combination of flavours, as well as the use of herbal botanicals and the velvety mouthfeel. - Paul Jackson, 2021 |

Meet the Makers
"Our distillery is here at home in the back of the kitchen and garage. We started with a beautiful copper still from Portugal called 'Pat' named after my mum, and now we are using a 25L Turbo 500 and column condenser called 'Ned' after Stephen's mum." - Founders, Katy & Stephen Moore
