Ludlow Distillery
Ludlow Distillery was launched in 2018 by Ludlow local, Shaun Ward, following careers in classical music and architectural conservation. Since releasing their flagship Ludlow Dry Gin, the range now includes a Navy Strength edition, a Spiced Gin, and host of contemporary gins, as well as liqueurs, rum, vodka and whisky. Each bottle is labelled using Italian paper and printed on a 1950s Heidelberg press. In 2023 the distillery was moved to Ludlow Farmshop, becoming the only distillery in the area to be open daily for Tours and Gin School experiences.

Tasting Notes: Aromas of bright citrus and juniper, with a subtle floral character. Juniper-led, fresh and citrussy on the palate, with cardamom & coriander seeds. A lingering finish with sweet & zesty citrus and hints of florals.
Serving Suggestion / Garnish: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Orange Peel or Lime, or in a Martini, White Lady or Negroni.
The Gin Guide Review: "Ludlow Dry Gin is a charming example of a classic London Dry Gin. Juniper is immediately evident on the nose and palate and is beautifully accompanied by bright citrus, cardamom, coriander seeds, orris root and angelica. This traditional flavour profile is given a subtle twist with the use of gorse flowers which give additional depth when emerging in the background on the nose and in the long finish. The gin is smooth with very little alcohol kick, and makes for a fine choice for a martini, or Gin and Tonic garnished with lime." - Paul Jackson, 2019
