Drive Sales & Engagement with Existing Customers
Your existing customers already know and like you. They'll be keen to hear about your success (as it proves that they have great taste in gin!) and it is a great fact to share and an excuse for them to order from you again.
- Go beyond the usual with Social Media: Spread the word with high impact social media Posts, Reels and Stories. It is an ideal opportunity to get creative too, from sharing your celebrations, to extravagent reveals and more. Also, be sure to tag in local bloggers, retailers and others that you work with so that they know about your Award too. You can mention your success in your Instagram / Facebook account profile information as well.
- Drive Sales from your Customer Database / Mailing List: A highly effective way to boost sales with your existing customers is to send an email out to your existing database of customers and email subscribers. Perhaps they have tried one of your gins but not your Award-Winning gin yet? Or perhaps they already know your gin but this will encourage them to buy another bottle, recommend it to a friend, or buy it as a gift in the near future.

Potential customers can take a lot more convincing, especially if they haven't previously heard of your gin or tried it before. Your Award instantly adds further credibility, another reason to buy your gin, and something different to the other gins on the shelf or at an event, while removing any doubt in the buyer's mind.

Retailers, Stockist, Distributors & Importers
Rapidly Multiply Exposure and Sales via your Stockists / Retailers / Distributors / Importers: This has proven to be so worthwhile based on feedback from previous Winners. Provide them with your Award logo, the 2024 Press Release, and social media imagery we have shared with you to make it as easy as possible for them to promote you and your Award.

- Retailers: contact them to ask if they can display your Award on their website and/or in their stores. Ask if they can email their customer database with a feature on your gins (or perhaps all of the Award-Winners they stock) - this is an easy way for them to encourage sales for themselves and for your gin.
- Stockists: Contact the venues, bar, pubs and restaurants that stock your gin. Could they sell a special cocktail to celebrate your success (and share this on social media or email their mailing list to promote it), perhaps they could have you as their featured gin for that week/month, or even mention your Award on their Gin Menu? Not every stockist will be willing, but we've seen all of the above many times and it's great way for the bar/venue to sell more of your gin and engage their customers.
- Distributors / Importers: If you have a distributor and/or importers, ensure that they have all the information they need to spread the word about your Award and use to increase sales. Can they add your Award to their Pitch Deck or website? And of course, if you are looking for a distributor and/or importer, you Awards success an ideal opportunity to grab their attention and start a conversation.

- Get it in the Press: Coverage of The Gin Guide Awards has ranged from local magazines and radio through to national newspapers and TV. Send a Press Release (you're welcome to use content from the one below) or ideally individually contact your local media (it is worth spending some time to research as many as possible), including:
- Local Newspapers - request a feature, ask for an interview or offer quotes/comments
- Local TV & Radio - ask for a news feature or can you go on to be interviewed live?
