About Meadowcourt Gin

Launched in 2021, Meadowcourt Gin is London Dry Gin named after the home of its creator, Lisa Leonard. Meadowcourt is a historic property in the Leicestershire town of Melton Mowbray (famed for its pork pies and stilton cheese) and the gin was inspired both by the building's history and by the flora and fauna found in its garden. Meadowcourt Gin is distilled at Sky Wave Gin Distillery in Oxfordshire.

"Six years ago we brought our dream home, Meadowcourt, in the Britain's 'Rural Capital of Food', Melton Mowbray. We knew the house was steeped in the history of Melton Mowbray. and I wanted to use that history and the flora of the garden as my inspiration to create Meadowcourt Gin. I spent hours trying to find the right distillery to work with to bring my gin vision to life. I finally found a master distiller who totally understood what I wanted to create and after perfecting the recipe, Meadowcourt Gin was finally brought to life." - Founder, Lisa Leonard
