Procera Gin - Review & Tasting Notes
Procera Gin was launched in 2019 by Nairobi Distillers in Kenya with the goal of showcasing African botanicals which are sourced from across the continent. While almost all other gins feature Common Juniper (juniper communis) alone, Procera Gin is the first gin to also use African Juniper (juniper procera) - the only species of juniper native to the southern hemisphere - which is harvested 70km from the distillery and gives Procera Gin its name. The bottles are hand-blown in Nairobi and capped with a hand-carved palm wood stopper.

Meet the Makers
“My whole career I’ve been striving to make the perfect Martini gin. When we distilled that first handful of fresh, green Procera berries, I knew immediately that African juniper was going to change the world of gin.”
