Bros Distillery
Bros Distillery was established in 2020 by brothers Vitalijs and Alex from Latvia. Inspired by their Great-Grandparents who distilled with grain and passed down family recipes, and having worked for Still producer 'Genio', the brothers launched Sixtowns Gin the same year. The bottles are made by Wade Ceramics in Stoke-on-Trent and are based on the ceramics kilns that can be found across the area. In 2023 the distillery was moved to a 1,050sqm site at World of Wedgewood in Barlaston on the edge of Stoke-on-Trent, with a bar and offering distillery tours, spirits tastings and events.

Sixtowns London Dry Gin (40% ABV)

  • Botanicals: 11 including juniper, lemon, elderflower, cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, pink peppercorns. Base Spirit: Grain.
  • Serving Suggestions: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Lemon or Ginger, or in a Martini, French 75 or White Negroni.
  • ​Tasting Notes: Aromas of juniper, peppercorns and earthy spice, with zesty lemon notes. Juniper, citrus, soft elderflower and warm spice on the palate. A finish of ginger, lemon and pink peppercorns.
The Gin Guide Review: Sixtowns Gin is bold and flavoursome, bringing together zesty lemon, soft elderflower and piney juniper, with contrasting earthy and warming spice of ginger, cinnamon and pink peppercorns, bridged by sutble cardamom notes. With Tonic Water, the earthy spice becomes less prominent but adds warmth and depth, while elderflower, piney juniper and cardamom are elevated and the combination of flavours really comes together. It is a gin that you can use garnishes very effectively with, such as using lemon to bring out the brighter notes for a summery serve, or using ginger to bring out the spice for a more wintery serve. - Paul Jackson, 2022
