Tipplemill Gin

Tipplemill was launched in 2023 by Lily Craven and her brother James who are fifth generation farmers at Mill Farm in South Lincolnshire, growing wheat, potatoes and daffodils. The farm's own wheat is milled locally at the Moulton Windmill, the UK's tallest working windmill, before being used to create their base spirit and then distilled with 10 botanicals at Ramsbury Distillery in Wiltshire to create Tipplemill London Dry Gin. 

Tipplemill London Dry Gin (44% ABV)

  • Botanicals: 10 botanicals including juniper, coriander seeds, angelica root, fennel seeds, cassia bark, grapefruit peel, orange peel, elderflower, bay. Base Spirit: Wheat.
  • Serving Suggestion: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Pink Grapefruit or Orange Peel, or in a Martini or Negroni.
  • Tasting Notes: ​Aromatic on the nose with pine and grapefruit notes, hints of fennel, and earthy cassia. On the palate, juniper, gently sweet orange notes and a lift of elderflower, underpinned by fennel seeds. A dry finish of herbaceous bay, coriander seeds, and lingering grapefruit and cassia.
The Gin Guide Review: Tipplemill Gin is heartily traditional at its core, with a flavoursome cameo of bittersweet citrus and elderflower, and depth and character from fennel seeds, warming cassia and dry, herbaceous bay.
