Warwickshire is well-known for its historical sites and as the birth place of Shakespeare, as well has having a long record of producing beer, however its history of distilling spirits is somewhat shorter. Cotswolds Distillery in Stourton was the first distillery to be established in in the county in 2014, ahead of opening an impressive visitor centre and café in 2019 alongside increasing their capacity for whisky production. Today, Warwickshire boasts 7 distilleries producing gin and 5 of these are open to the public for tours or Gin School experiences.

Pinnock Gin
Launched in 2018, Pinnock Distillery is named after the Cotswolds cottage where Pinnock Gin was first produced and launched. Meet the Makers
Get to know Warwickshire's finest gin creators and distillers in our 'Meet the Maker' interviews. Find out what inspired them and how they created and launched their gin, how it's made, what botanicals are used, what you can experience if you visit their distilleries, how best to serve their gins, and what they have planned for the future:
"Local provenance is at the heart of Pinnock Dry Gin. We use locally sourced honey, lavender and quince, which are accompanied by specially selected botanicals from around the globe to create a smooth and complex Warwickshire Dry Gin. This is also the case with our Rhubarb and Strawberry Gin and our Sloe, Damson and Honey Gin, where we use locally sourced fruit and berries." - Dan Beckett, Founder
