Cornish Gin Reviews - A to Z
Caspyn Gin
Pocketful of Stones Distillery was launched by 4 friends in the London pub and bar industry, with Shaun Bebington creating their first gin in the basement of his pub, The Lukin in Fitzrovia, before relocating to set up their distillery in Penzance, Cornwall. Their original gin, Caspyn Cornish Dry Gin, was launched in 2016 and has been followed by Caspyn Midsummer Gin and a range of other gins and spirits including Dr Squid Gin.

Elemental Cornish Gin
Elemental Gin was founded in 2013 and was one of the first gins to be distilled and bottled in Cornwall for over 300 years. In 2020, Nicki and Joe Woolley took the reins at the distillery and have introduced updated branding and bottles while maintaining the original recipe and processes. Elemental Gin is produced in the distillery at the bottom of their garden in four 40-litre traditional copper pot stills, with their range also including Raspberry, Spring Citrus and Apple editions.

Foy Gin
Foy Gin is distilled at Fowey Valley Cidery & Distillery in Golant, on the banks for the River Fowey. Having started making hand-pressed cider over 30 years ago, founders Barrie and Geraldine Gibson established their commercial cidery in 2012 before launching Foy Gin in 2017. The gin is produced in 200L copper pot stills with the distillery's own base alcohol, and the distillery offers tours and tastings, gin making experiences and also cider making classes and tours.

Rosemullion Gin
Rosemullion Dry Gin was launched in 2019 as the signature gin of Rosemullion Distillery, established in Mawnan near Falmouth in Cornwall in 2018. The founders, Andy and Liz Bradbury, ferment their own base spirit for their range of gins and rums and combine this with local fruits and botanicals. Rosemullion Gin is made in 100 – 200 bottle batches in a copper pot still and the family-run distillery utilises Cornish rainwater for both fermentation and distillation.
