York Gin Distillery
​Launched in March 2018 in York's countryside with a 300L copper pot still, York Gin's spirits are inspired by York's history and are made with Yorkshire grain. Their flagship London Dry Gin has been followed by a further 5 gins as well as the opening of a York Gin shop in the city centre and the switch to Yorkshire-made bottles in 2021. The logo is based on a doodle by co-founder Emma Godivala and features York's famous castle and Roman walls, as well as a cat drawing inspired by a cat which appeared in a 17th century woodcut of the Bottesford Witches.

Tasting Notes: Aromas of juniper, gentle spice and citrus. Traditional on the palate with piney juniper, citrus, cardamom spice and subtly floral orris root. A dry and earthy finish with juniper and pepperiness.
Serving & Garnish Suggestion: Gin & Tonic with a garnish of Lemon Peel or Juniper, or in a Martini, Negroni or Gimlet.
