York Gin - London Dry: Review & Tasting Notes

The Gin Guide Review
York Gin's London Dry delivers everything you'd want from a traditional dry gin. On the nose there are classic notes of juniper, gentle spice and citrus, and on the palate there is the trinity of piney juniper, coriander seeds and angelica root, with well-balanced citrus, spice and a floral hint of orris root. The mouthfeel is particularly pleasing, being full-bodied, rounded and very smooth. The dry finish carries through the juniper alongside black pepper and grains of paradise, with no signs of harshness at 42.5%. York Gin is flavoursome and well-constructed, and an impressive example of a traditional gin that York can be proud of. A G&T or any classic gin cocktails make for ideal servings, and lemon peel is an ideal garnish starting point. - Paul Jackson, 2019 |

Meet the Makers
"We didn’t want to create anything wacky with weird and wonderful botanicals. We’ve had a bit of fun with some other gins, but we were adamant about what we wanted from our London Dry and we’re very, very proud of it!"
