Wild Atlantic Irish Gin was launched in 2019 by Wild Atlantic Distillery, the first gin and whisky distillery to be established in Country Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The distillery is located close to the Sperrin Mountains, just 15 miles from Donegal and the famous Wild Atlantic Way, along which the seaweed used in the gin is collected. The logo was inspired by the 'Porcupine Bank' which is a unique marine environment situated off the west coast of Ireland, and was discovered in 1862 by the research vessel the 'M.V. Porcupine' after which it was named.

Wild Atlantic Irish Gin is fragrant, flavoursome and successful in combining traditional gin botanicals and contemporary additions that are closely relevant to the distillery's location. Piney juniper, citrus fruits, coriander seeds and orris root combine to deliver bright notes, while angelica root, cassia bark and liquorice bring deeper, earthy spice, all with a skilfully balanced underlying savoury salinity from the sugar kelp and dillisk. Wild Atlantic Irish Gin is an impressive debut and a worthy flagship gin to build a portfolio around. When serving as a G&T, fresh orange is an ideal garnish starting point.  - Paul Jackson, 2019
