The Gin Guide Review
Wild Atlantic Irish Gin is fragrant, flavoursome and successful in combining traditional gin botanicals and contemporary additions that are closely relevant to the distillery's location. Piney juniper, citrus fruits, coriander seeds and orris root combine to deliver bright notes, while angelica root, cassia bark and liquorice bring deeper, earthy spice, all with a skilfully balanced underlying savoury salinity from the sugar kelp and dillisk. Wild Atlantic Irish Gin is an impressive debut and a worthy flagship gin to build a portfolio around. When serving as a G&T, fresh orange is an ideal garnish starting point. - Paul Jackson, 2019 |
